“Dove Hunting: 8am – 9am”
Lake Village, Arkansas. September 10th, 2009
When the sun comes up, the socializing begins. This consists mostly of hanging out in the corn on the back of a four wheeler sipping a soda, and staring blurry eyed in front of you…

Stragglers come in from the fields little by little, trying to hold out for just one more… someone insists they bought bad shells… someone lights a cigar….

Someone rolls up their sleeves and takes to the task of cleaning the doves for dinner…

More staring off into the fields weighing whether breakfast or a nap should come first…

Playing with corn…

Ooh, corn… fun

Contemplating if I should start running down the rows like I’m in “Children of the Corn”…

I wonder where I’d end up?

My new badass friends.
