I love it when we get the occasional double-yolked egg from our laying hens. We’ve had them for 5 years, and have only gotten 4 double-yolks, though earlier this summer, we had one and then another two weeks later. I was hoping for a twin trend, but, alas, it didn’t work out that way!
I don’t know why it excites me so much, but it really does. I wonder if any have ever hatched… ?
