“How to Quarter a Chicken”
I’m all about cooking with economy, finding ways to do more with less, save scraps and turn them into something delicious, and channel the inner pioneer in you. Buying a whole bird is way more economical than buying its parts. Plus you get the carcass left over to use for delicious soup or stock. Here is a how-to video to take you through the process.
Try going for a whole bird next time you’re in the meat aisle!
Enjoy, my friends.

Thanks for the demo, I noted some tricks I have not done before with a whole bird. So, I am wondering how one goes about de-boning a bird? It seems like a tricky operation but I imagine there are some professional tricks that make it easier.
You’re in luck Thad! The very next video is going to be on how to de-bone a bird! Stay tuned.
You have fan mind reader skills I see:)
My husband and I were just talking about cutting up chicken the other night. After he butchered, figuratively speaking, our beer can chicken, and complained about not know how to cut up a chicken. I think I’ll have him watch this:) It’s much better than I explained it!
