Well, it may not feel like it just yet, but it’s officially FALL! We are super excited around Georgiatown. We aren’t quite pulling out our sweaters just yet, but we are certainly getting our homes in the spirit! The following are some of G’s Favorite items to help transition your home decor into the new season.

Textured Decorative Textiles
When it comes something we just can’t get enough of is layering our textile. Adding rich natural textures to your home is both beautiful and inviting. A simple and inexpensive way to do this adding some fun pillows and a cozy throw to your living room. One of our favorites is even on sale right now at Target!

Keeping with our natural aesthetic nothing quite says fall like a beautiful tablescape with simple, natural details. Remember G’s DIY Shed Antler Holder? Well, it is certainly gracing our tablescapes this fall and is a great to accent a cozy nook. You can also achieve this by simply adding some little pumpkins or gourds and some fresh fall blooms to your coffee table or entry.

Fresh Wall Art
There’s nothing like a fresh change in wall art to really breath a new life into any room. We are loving these fall inspired DIYs from Apartment Therapy and Design Love Fest. These are simple and super resourceful – and make quite a beautiful statement!

You cannot think of fall and not think of the outdoors, it’s the perfect time to freshen up your curb appeal with simple touches. Changing up your doormat, adding a seasonal wreath or mum and possibly a fresh coat of paint to your door are perfect inexpensive ways to get festive.

It just isn’t the fall without all its fragrant scents. From pumpkin spice to cinnamon cider a fall scented, or my personal favorite, black fig, candle quickly gets you in the spirit!
