Lately I have been trying to be more intentional with the time I spend on my cell phone. I’ve gone so far as to tell my closest people that I’m getting a landline so that if they need to reach me urgently they can call me there, rather than text me and expect an immediate response. And I’ve been putting away social media apps in favor of knitting and reading. I’m currently knitting a hat and reading “Grit: The Power of Passion and Perseverance.” There are times though that a cell phone has come in handy as distraction. For example when I’m on the elliptical at the gym and want to consume my brain with something inspiring and productive rather than watching something boring on the TV. That way I am improving my body and mind both at once — imagine the efficiency! So here are the podcasts I’m listening to, please share what you’re listening to in the comments so we can learn from each other.
