I’ve been told by my readers on Instagram that my Instagram stories of me trimming my pottery are hypnotizing. I’ve also had a lot of folks ask about the French butter keeper that I make. So I thought I’d show you how I do it in case you want to try your hand on the pottery wheel. My dad coined the term ‘manual literacy’ that I often use, and since losing him unexpectedly in April, I’ve found that using my hands has been therapeutic. Hopefully this will give you some inspiration to practice your own manual literacy in your life and see where it takes you.
