Textured Decorative Textiles

When it comes something we just can’t get enough of is layering our textile.  Adding rich natural textures to your home is both beautiful and inviting.  A simple and inexpensive way to do this adding some fun pillows and a cozy throw to your living room.  One of our favorites is even on sale right now at Target!

Natural Accents

Keeping with our natural aesthetic nothing quite says fall like a beautiful tablescape with simple, natural details.  Remember G’s DIY Shed Antler Holder? Well, it is certainly gracing our tablescapes this fall and is a great to accent a cozy nook. You can also achieve this by simply adding some little pumpkins or gourds and some fresh fall blooms to your coffee table or entry.

As an interior designer, I’m often asked about little changes to warm up a home. All your tips were in line with the suggestions I make; consider sensory triggers. Change bulbs to warm whites, switch out throw pillows, and grab candles. Living in a HIGH RISE, in a large city, I don’t have a fireplace, so I grabbed some threshold brand candles at target, in the “leather and embers” scent. I love them! I lay out extra throws, put up some twinkly lights, and keep trader joe’s snacks in the freezer to warm up if friends drop by for a glass of wine. I want everything cozy and effortless. Right now spotify is playing the “Less is more” playlist, which I like because autumn is all about letting go of all things that don’t sustain you, right?
