The warmer weather is on its way and it has us with a hankering for adventure. On the top of our list of activities to do is fishing. We did some research and even asked all of you for your favorites and the following is the 8 Places You Have To Fish Before You Die.
8 Places You Have To Fish Before You Die:
Gallatin River in Montana
A fly fishing must. Located in the beautiful Gallatin Valley in south-central Montana. Flowing north from Yellowstone National Park, the views in this part of Montana are some of the most scenic in the world. This is definitely a trip to bring your camera along and prepare to see a whole lot of wildlife.

White River, Arkansas
This river is nestled in the Ozark this is also a location favorite for fly fishers. Known for its rainbow and brown trout it is certainly not one to miss.
Bighorn River, Montana
Bighorn River offers gentle and clear water and makes a great spot for catching brown trout. It offers year-round fishing but we recommend going between April and November.
Charlotte Harbor, Florida
This is one of the of the top places for sports fishing. This is breeding ground for a range of fish species including: Snook, Grouper, Tarpon, Redfish, Barracuda, and Cobia. The possibilities for dinner menus are endless and very, very appetizing.
Green River, Utah
Another huge fly fishing spot. This river offers emerald waters and a HUGE population of trout. The breathtaking scenery is not bad either.
Boca Grande, Florida
This spot is known for its Tarpon trophies. The tarpon can get can weigh over 200 pounds and reeling one of those bad boys in is a feeling of a lifetime.

Sound, North Carolina
This spot is known for its red drum, though locals call them “channel bass.” This is the pride of North Carolina fishing community and is definitely worth a visit.

Chesapeake Bay
The Chesapeake Bay is as good a fishery as you can find in the United States. Known especially for its striped bass, you MUST FISH HERE. Be sure to take a sailing lesson while you’re there too! You can even go oystering, too.
