An Evening With Food Heroes

I want to tell you about an event next week that you’ll love. It’s called “An Evening With Food Heroes.”

I’ve been planning it with Eventbrite all Summer and the time is finally here.

It’s a chance for you to meet some of the most delectable culinary artisans in the Bay Area, all in one place, on one night, in one cozy place called Terroir. And there will be wine flowing, plenty of it, red and white and artisan too.

Charles Chocolates will be there with whiskey chocolates, and Frog Hollow Farm will be there with the best fruit in the country, and wood fired pizza from Pizza Politana, and CMB Sweets, and, Clarine’s Florentines, and Oren’s Kitchen, and Four Barrel Coffee, and Paul Bertolli’s hand crafted salumi from Fra’Mani , and Straus Family Creamery

And the best part? The proceeds from the event go to the Alice Waters’ Edible School Yard project in Oakland.

And I’ll be there, to say hi and to scribble my signature on books.

Want to know more? Get all the glorious details here.

SO.

Are you coming?

Ahhhhhhhh! I just popped by to look at your tour schedule because I have a conflict the day of your omnivore books event and I saw this.

I am flying back from the east coast that morning and in meetings all afternoon, but it sounds amazing. So, I see the event is listed from 6-10pm. Is it sort of a free for all like the lunches this weekend? Or will the be presentations or things going on throughout? I want to go, but I'm not sure if I can get there on time or last all the way to the end.

p.s. my fiance said you are even prettier in person than in your awesome press photos, by the way 😉

Hi Gabi! You can come in and out any time to the event. It's an open door once you have a ticket…which has to be purchased in advance.

So fun seeing you and hope to see you soon!

It was great meeting you too!

I noticed you aren't a member of the Bay Area Food Blogger google group (http://groups.google.com/group/BayAreaFoodBloggers), and you should definitely promote this event there. Dianne Jacob got a full house for her Omnivore signing by reaching out to local bloggers there.
