There have been fancy gift bags, fancy food and drink, Q&A’s where we chatted, a lot of colorful sharpies that I used to draw in your books and… demos on how to make this fabulous homemade beet juice tinted lip gloss from my book “Modern Pioneering.” Here is what it looks like to make Homemade Red Beet Tinted Lip Gloss. Homemade Red Beet Tinted Lip Gloss

Beet juice can be purchased in the grocery aisle of most stores as well as at any juice bar. It can be used to color more than just food. Homemade lip gloss is quick to make and a wonderful gift or stocking stuffer. You can add slightly more or less beet juice depending on how intense a color you would like. There are all kinds of lip gloss tins and containers available online. Or if you want to be thrifty, save your store-bought lip gloss containers and refill them with your homemade concoction.

Because of the beet juice. You can skip the beet juice and it will last months.

Do this in mason jars in a saucepan of simmering water, stir, and then pour them into lip balm containers.
