You will need:
- 1 mason jar with lid
- Wooden block
- Hammer
- Chisel
- Pliers
- Bulb socket with extension cord
- “Edison” light bulb or another fun colored light bulb that is small enough to fit inside the jar.
To start, set the lid (minus the ring) on top of the wood block and puncture a hole right in the center.
Now that you have found the center, make a cross by hammering the blade of the chisel.
Next, use the pliers to bend the points of the metal upwards.
As you can see, the cord fits perfectly.
Combine the lid and ring and insert the plug end of the cord through the hole from underneath the lid.
Then screw in a light bulb and secure the lid around the neck of the bottle.
Plug it in and now you have a stylish mason jar lantern to set whatever mood.
