Here is the latest in my Modern Pioneering video series. From The Garden, The Kitchen, The Wild, and The Rest, you’ll be learning recipes, projects and skills for a self-sufficient life. This one teaches you how to upcycle your eggshells and turn them into eggshell seedling planters, which you can then transplant right into the ground–the shells serve as fertilizer! I’d love to hear if you enjoy this one, and please share any suggestions for the next ones, including which topics you’d love me to cover. This is a trick my grandmother taught me and I think of her every time I make these. We had a little plant-off one time for Earth Day and she definitely won.

Eggshell Seedling Planters:

What did you think of this video, would you make this at home?
