I’ve gotten a lot of inquiries about how I’m doing with the historic Arkansas flood, since I spend some of my time in Arkansas. Fortunately I haven’t been severely effected by it the way some have, particularly in Fort Smith and Oklahoma. It is the worst flooding in Arkansas History, a 500 year flood, which means that most people who didn’t need flood insurance are now under water without a safety net to help them get back to normal. Let’s keep them all in our prayers, Mother Nature is mystical and magical and also fierce. Here is a video I took of the Arkansas River in downtown Little Rock, where the River Trail sculpture garden is. It gives you a sense of how things are as of today. The water is expected to keep rising about another 5 feet. See more content on my YouTube channel.
