Some friends recently hosted a party for me and they really knocked my socks off. One gal said: “I wanted to make the flower arrangements wild like you.” She went to the wholesale flower market and picked her favorite flowers and then did the most amazing thing: she upcycled some basic glass vases and wrapped them in some craft paper along with some twine. How to Upgrade Your Flower Arrangements:
Start with one of those basic glass square vases that bouquet deliveries often come in.
Wrap the square vase the way you would a present, fastening the inside with some tape.
Be sure to get the bottom too.
Next, wrap it in rustic rope or twine of your choosing. Then get a mason jar of some sort that fits inside the glass vase.
Set it inside your glass vase and fill it with water!
This is your beautiful elevated looking container in which you can put all kinds of flowers. And you can save this and keep reusing it!
I love arrangements that have herbs and wild organic elements. It’s amazing what you can find pretty much anywhere, from a parking strip to the woods.
