I recently had one of my favorite kinds of adventure getaways that I host…
At one of my new magical venues…
It was a private Bachelorette Adventure Getaway, full of ladies from all over the country… who knew how to rock the back of a pick-up truck.
Full of shotgun shells…
Fun photos and lots of hugs…
There were special head dresses with pink sparkling… never mind.
Girlfriends learned how to shoot clays, some for the very first time.
And they got to feel that adrenaline rush of making contact for the very first time.
There were ATV rides through some beautiful Texas Hill Country terrain…
Also with appropriate head gear.
We also cooked! I taught the ladies how to make fresh mozzarella from scratch, in just 30 minutes.
It was a blast stretching the curds and eating the delicious results. Cheese making was the guest of honor’s favorite thing and I aim to please!
We learned how to rope like a bunch of cowgirls…
Put a few special pictures up on a firing line and practiced our target skills. (This was a BB gun, everyone calm down!)
We hung out by the pool and lounged around… with cocktails of course.
Ate a big heaping plate of nachos with shredded venison. On a Louis Vuitton ottoman of course!
We drank from appropriate party-themed straws…
And hung out in lots of cowboy chic furnishings.
Then we got ready to roast our s’mores, cause my Adventure Getaways are not complete without them.
And we took fun photos at sunset. And got all weird ‘n stuff.
Here is a small panoramic of the sunset. It. Was. Amazing.
Our place lit up like magic at night.
These are the kinds of rooms each of us had to ourselves. We felt like queens of England.
Especially by the 10th s’more.
I love hosting Girl Hunter and Co-Ed Adventure Getaways so that people can meet and make new friends, but I also love hosting these private events because we can all go to a spa for a few days… but how often do we get to learn new things, roll up our sleeves a little bit, laugh until it hurts, and also relax by the pool with the people we love?
And lucky me, I get to meet you wonderful people in the process.

Wow, that lucky bride has some awesome friends! I bet her wedding was something special too. Looks like everyone had a great time, even if they did have to drink out of creepy straws 🙂

Love the cock antennas, and note Georgia’s drinking straw. Looks like some other shots were fired over the “Girls Getaway”
