Since I hosted my first Girl Hunter Weekend a year and half ago, I have been overwhelmed by the enthusiasm and demand for these trips. And I’m so grateful to have met so many wonderful people along the way and to share all kinds of adventures, laughter, and good food with them. I’ve made friends for life.
Since those first successful trips, we have expanded. Now I host one co-ed couple event per year, and now this summer, by popular demand, have begun hosting private customized adventure weekends for bachelorette groups and other gatherings. Through our partnerships with venues around the country we are now able to host a variety of adventure trips, each with their own unique attributes so that no one trip is ever the same.
Since we are expanding so quickly, each trip will have a label alongside it so you have a better understanding of what you’re getting into. Below gives you some details on the differences. Check our Adventure Getaways Calendar often to see the latest offerings!
RUGGED:
This is for the woman who doesn’t mind getting her hands dirty. ATV rides 10,000 feet in the mountains may leave you covered in dust, but the laughter and glass of wine by the fire at the end of the day make it worthwhile.
REFINED:
This is for the woman who wants to quail hunt by day and enjoy a bubble bath by night, with perhaps a facial or 90-minute hot stone massage thrown in.
COUPLES:
Our only co-ed adventure, join other couples — or gather a group of your friends for an exclusive experience — for a weekend getaway that’s rugged and romantic. You can join one of the already planned upcoming getaways or contact us about planning one especially for you and your group (this service is available for groups of 10 and more).
BACHELORETTE:
We’ve partnered with several venues throughout the country — some rugged, some refined — and can help you to plan an unforgettable getaway weekend for the Bride-to-be. It is a unique solution for the maid-of-honor who has a long to-do list!
CUSTOMIZED EXPERIENCES:
If you have your own special gathering in mind and would like it custom tailored, send us a note and we will match you with one of our partner venues and create an itinerary that provides you with an unforgettable experience.
GIFT CERTIFICATES:
These can be purchased in various dollar increments and provide the recipient the greatest flexibility in choosing which experience is right for them.

Yay!! I first heard about Girl Hunter Weekend in January and am hoping/planning on attending an event sometime! However I’m a plan in advance person..any chance there will be more 2014 events scheduled relatively soon..and/or payment plans for those events?

Hi Katie, we have one for January 2014 at this point. We will probably repeat these that you see here in 2014 if all goes according to plan. We won’t set up payment for them until these posted events have sold out but you can certainly mark your calendar. Hope to meet you soon!
